On 28th June 2019, we joined Kinoo residents at the launch of the Rapid Registration Initiative for the Shona community who will now acquire birth certificates. We were also joined by the Kiambu County Commander, Kikuyu Sub county OCPD and the Kinoo police post Fraternity as we officially opened the new Staff houses at the post which is set to be upgraded into a fully fledged police station in the near future.
We thereafter launched works on the HGM-Orange park to PCEA Gaitumbi loop road which is being done by our constituency CRC- KeRRA. Thereafter we toured the ongoing works at HGM Kinoo high school where construction of a multi-storeyed classroom block is being done by Kikuyu NG-CDF.
We concluded our day’s activities in the constituency by donating 50 seats to Thumbi Women Self help Group from Kiaheho and a 100-seater tent to Mwiteithia SHG from Gaitumbi which were sourced from EABL through CSR.
There will be a Satelite Civil registration clinic for acquiring birth certificates at the constituency in Kikuyu every Wednesday and Thursday. This will reduce the hustle of travelling to Nairobi or Limuru, thus bringing these crucial services closer to the People
