Consultative Development Planning Meeting

On 12th January 2018 afternoon till late that evening we had a consultative development planning meeting of the elected leaders in Kikuyu Constituency. With MCAs Henry Kagiri,Samuel Mugwanja , Muhindi Kioi, Kimani Wanjiku & Naphtali Ngugi, we have engaged on the need to have co-ordinated development planning and execution at both levels of government as we endeavor to Transform Kikuyu and Change Lives.

KICE Foundation Scholarship

On 29th December 2017, We issued KICE Foundation scholarship cheques to over 90 KICE beneficiaries to a tune of Kshs. 2.4 Million at the CDF office. We also welcomed 20 new form one beneficiaries (a number of them being complete orphans)into the KICE scholarship program after a vigorous vetting exercise.The new form one beneficiaries have received Kshs. 546,303 in fees for first term. Kikuyu Town is LIT

Yesterday evening (10th July 2017), We commissioned the Kikuyu street light program funded by the National government. Gatune Police Station(AP Quarters) Commissioning

Today morning (10th July 2017), We officially opened the newly constructed AP Living quarters and toilet block fully funded by NG-CDF at Gatune Police station, Nachu ward. After visiting the station a few months back, we realized the sorry state of the previous AP lines which led urgent need of new houses. Commissioning Kerwa AP Housing block

On 5th July 2017, We officially opened the new AP housing block consisting of five units at Kerwa Police Post. We were joined by Key security agencies and stakeholders in Kikuyu and residents of Sigona ward. Expansion of the police post will see more police officers brought to the area and consequently enhancing security.  

Kerwa Water Borehole Project

On 26th June 2017, We commissioned the new Kerwa water borehole project that was funded by the EABL Foundation to a tune of ksh. 7.2m under their CSR program that we sourced for to compliment government and community work.The project was implemented by AMREF Health Africa in collaboration with Kerwa Nduma community. The pump has a capacity of 30 cubic meters per hour and a 4km pipeline network. It is

Yesterday afternoon (11th May 2017) we hosted a delegation of Ugandan Members of Parliament led by the Chairperson of their Legal and Parliamentary affairs committee and member of the Rules,Discipline and Privileges Committee. Groups Empowerment Tour

Yesterday (12th April 2017) we continued with our groups empowerment tour. Today we met over 89 groups in Lussigeti, Karai Muslim, Ondiri, Kinoo Primary area and finally kinoo market. We are giving seed capital to all these groups so as to encourage table banking and clustered economic empowerment across the constituency. The transformation continues
