Bursary Vetting for Year 2018

From 7th to 14th March 2018 we held vetting for bursary applicants at various vetting centres across all wards. Our Constituency office staff, CDF office and the Kikuyu, Kinoo, Sigona, Karai and Nachu wards community bursary committee members braved  chilly days to get through this rigorous exercise to vet over 4,000 applicants from all wards. Contractors Site Visit

Today 13th Feb 2018, Prequalified contractors wishing to participate in the recently floated tenders for renovation of Nguriunditu Primary School, proposed New Thamanda police post and Kerwa police post visited the sites before submitting their bids. This is a mandatory condition that must be fulfilled by the contractor for their bids to be considered. This is in line with our principle of effective, efficient and transparency in our procurement process.

Kanyanjara Water Pan Dam

Last week Friday, we visited Kanyanjara sub location while distributing relief food to residents in the area who have been affected by the current food shortage problem in the country. Kerwa Police Post

In the financial year 2016/2017 Kerwa  Police post project was allocated Kshs. 1,500,000 for construction of 3 Administration Police Quarters (Laying foundation, walling, roofing and plastering) to beef up security in the area and its environs.
