During the monitoring and evaluation tour in October 2015 it was realized that there was need to rehabilitate most of the classrooms which were in a dilapidated state and in the next financial year i.e 2015/2016 budget the school was allocated Kshs. 3,000,000 for renovation of classrooms and Kshs. 900,000 from the emergency kitty for construction of a toilet block (exhaustible).
In the financial year 2015/2016 budget Kamangu Primary School was allocated Kshs. 2,000,000 for classrooms renovation i.e plastering, painting and fixing doors and windows.
In the 2015/2016 budget Kshs. 3,980,000 was allocated to finish up on the rehabilitation works that had begun in the previous financial year. The allocated amount is for reconstruction of two condemned classes (demolishing, flooring, walling, roofing, plastering, fixing doors & windows) and rehabilitation of 2 classes (flooring, walling, roofing, plastering, fixing doors and windows) @ Kshs. 3,580,000 and purchase of 100 lockers and chairs @ Kshs 400,000
After the completion of the first phase of the project which was the construction of three classrooms, the final phase embarked. In the financial year 2015/2016 Kshs. 4,000,000 was allocated to complete the project i.e the construction of three classrooms on the first floor.
In the financial year 2015/2016 budget Kshs. 2,000,000 was allocated for completion of a dormitory block (Walling and slabbing). The project is on going.
In the financial year 2015/2016 Gichuru Secondary School was allocated Kshs. 3,000,000 for completion of first floor classrooms. The work is on going
During the financial years 2014/2015 this project was allocated Kshs. 1,500,000 for construction of AP quarters and an additional of Kshs. 250,000 from 2015/2016 budget for Fencing of the police post. The work is complete and the staff houses are ready for occupation.
In the financial year 2015/2016 Kshs. 3,500,000 was allocated to the school for the renovation of 12 classrooms and the administration block(Fixing the huge cracks caused by earth tremor, flooring, plastering, putting varendahs, painting, fixing doors & windows). The work is on going
Kikuyu Boys high school is one of the boys boarding schools in Kikuyu constituency. In the financial year 2015/2016 Kshs. 4,000,000 was allocated for construction of a new dormitory. The work is currently on going.
