Nguriunditu Primary had very old classrooms and they approached the CDF for financial help. During the Financial year 2013/2014 kes 1,500,000 was allocated for renovation of classes and purchase of modern lockers and chairs. The work is now complete and in use.
Ondiri Rumwe water is a fully funded project by CDF and was allocated KES 1,000,000 in the financial year 2012/2013 for construction of a concrete water tank tower & purchase of water tank in the same financial year .The project was completed and handed over to the Ondiri authority to ensure sufficient supply water to the society.
For the financial year 2012/2013 KES 500,000 was apportioned for renovation of classes including painting, fixing window panes and carpeting in the school. The work was completed. In the financial year 2014/2015 KES 1,000,000 was allocated to the same school for the rehabilitation of the classes( plastering, keying, wiring and flooring).
Nderi Women Water project received KES 1,000,000 from the CDF in the financial year 2012/2013, the funds were used to purchase five water tanks and rehabilitate an old steel water tower.
In the financial year 2012/2013 KES 1,500,000 was allocated for renovation of the chief’s camp and construction of AP lines.
Gikambura Health Center project begun in the year 2007 and it is a fully funded CDF project. When the current CDF took office, they decided to fully complete the project and in the year 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 Kshs. 4,000,000 was allocated. Gikambura Health Center is now a complete project and in use.
During the financial year 2013/2014 CDF allocated KES 1,100,000 for rehabilitation of the current water tank to solve the issue of water shortages and accessibility to clean and safe water in the region. In the year 2014/2015 an additional Kshs 1,000,000 was allocated for purchase and laying of water distribution pipes in Karii village, Kiore village, Nyakumu village and Lussigetti areas.
Mai-a-hii Secondary school required a new Kitchen system that worked better and was environment friendly at the same time.In the Financial year 2012/2013 KES 800,000 was allocated to purchase kitchen equipment’s to cater for the large number of students in the school. The project was completed,the efficient kitchen system is now in use and a great help to the school.
In the financial year 2014/2015 KES 500,000 has been allocated for installation of water distribution pipes.
For the financial year 2012/2013 KES 400,000 was apportioned for purchase of pipes and piping.
