In the financial year 2015/2016 Njumbi primary school was allocated Kshs 4,400,000 for construction of four classrooms (laying foundation, walling , plastering and roofing) and renovation of ten classrooms and a library (Flooring, plastering, fixing doors and windows, guttering and construction of verandah). Kshs 400,000 for purchase of 100 lockers and chairs. The face of this schools has totally changed compared to how it looked before.

The balance of KES 1,600,000 after constructing two modern classrooms during the financial year 2013/2014 went into construction of the administration block and in the financial year 2014/2015 KES 2,000,000 was allocated for the construction of a modern laboratory.
The above road is located in Renguti village in Nachu ward. The road was impassable before due to poor drainage. Renovations to improve the road have been fully funded by Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) during the financial year 2014/2015 under the patronage of Hon. Kimani Ichungwah.
Renguti primary is located in Nachu Ward with a population of about 300 students. The existing toilet block was labeled dangerous for use since it was sinking thus it was condemned, therefore a need for another toilet block arose and the CDF allocated KES 1,000,000 in the financial year 2014/2015 towards this project. The toilet block is complete and in use.
Karabuta hill is on the Nachu- Gatune road, an acute hill that has posed a challenge for both pedestrians and motorists. On the same hill, there existed a huge rock on the middle of the road since time immemorial; the Kikuyu CDF came in to assist and funded the excavation and grounding of the said rock to ensure that the road becomes motor able.
This Institute is being co-funded by the Ministry of education in conjunction with Kikuyu NG-CDF. The Kikuyu NG-CDF allocated 10,000,000 in the financial year 2014/2015 for its eventual construction which is now complete. Nachu Technical Training Institute will supplement courses offered at Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology .
During the financial year 2012/2013 KES 4,000,000 was allocated for Construction of Male & Female wards and an additional of KES 2,000,000 for the financial year 2013/2014 was apportioned for further construction of the two wards. In the financial year 2014/2015 KES 1,000,000 was allocated for completion of sanitary facilities (toilet and septic tank) and painting.
During the year 2012/2013, KES 400,000 was allocated to this project to pay a hydro geologist tasked with doing a hydro-geological survey in readiness for drilling a borehole. Following this, in the financial year 2014/2015 the project was allocated KES 5,000,000 for the actual drilling and equipping the borehole to serve Gatune, Mbomboini and Nachu areas. The work is on going.
