Karai Muslim Dispensary

    The residents of Karai Muslim had  for a long time lacked accessible and affordable health care. In the Financial year 2012/2013 KES 1,453,893 was allocated by CDF to begin the construction of Karai Dispensary for utilization by the members of the society and in the financial year 2013/2014, an additional of Kshs 953,893 was allocated to complete the dispensary, construct a latrine and waiting bay. Nyakumu-Karai Water Project

During the financial year 2013/2014 CDF allocated KES 1,100,000 for rehabilitation of the current water tank to solve the issue of water shortages and accessibility to clean and safe water in the region. In the year 2014/2015 an additional Kshs 1,000,000 was allocated for purchase and laying of water distribution pipes in Karii village, Kiore village, Nyakumu village and Lussigetti areas.

Mai-ai-ihii Secondary School

Mai-a-hii Secondary school required a new Kitchen system that worked better and was environment friendly at the same time.In the Financial year 2012/2013 KES 800,000 was allocated to purchase kitchen equipment’s to cater for the large number of students in the school. The project was completed,the efficient kitchen system is now in use and a great help to the school.
