Mai-ai-ihii Water Project

  Mai-i-ihii water project  had an existing borehole and a small tank which could not hold enough water to supply to the residents. The CDF allocated Kshs 1,500,000 during the financial year 2013/2014 to construct a high capacity water tower to hold 2×24 m3 tanks and Kshs 1,000,000 in the financial year 2014/2015 for purchasing and laying of water distributing pipes to homes.

Kahero Water Project

  There was an urgent need to provide a water source for the people of Kahero.Water sources were seemingly scarce in the area therefore CDF intervened to provide an easily accessible water source. During the financial year 2012/2013 KES 500,000 was allocated for construction of a concrete water tower and purchase a water tank that could be used by the society to store clean water for convenience.

Musa Gitau Roads

The project was  allocated KES 1,500,000 in the financial year 2013/2014 to rehabilitate the roads i.e murraming ,construction of culverts and improving the drainage system of the roads to reduce flooding. Here is the new look of the fully rehabilitated Musa Gitau roads.

Gikambura Health Centre

        Gikambura Health Center project begun in the year 2007 and it is a fully funded CDF project. When the current CDF took office, they decided to fully complete the project and in the year 2012/2013 and 2013/2014  Kshs. 4,000,000 was allocated. Gikambura Health Center is now a complete project and in use.
