Tree Planting Campaign #gogreen

Commissioning Muhu Secondary School Multi- Purpose Hall

On 4th April 2018, We joined students, teachers and the entire fraternity of Muhu secondary school as they marked their annual prize giving day. We also officially opened the new multi-purpose hall that was fully funded by the Kikuyu CDF. Bursary Vetting for Year 2018

From 7th to 14th March 2018 we held vetting for bursary applicants at various vetting centres across all wards. Our Constituency office staff, CDF office and the Kikuyu, Kinoo, Sigona, Karai and Nachu wards community bursary committee members braved  chilly days to get through this rigorous exercise to vet over 4,000 applicants from all wards. Nachu CSR Projects and Launch of The #Letsgogreen Project

On 9th March, we held a consultative meeting with the head teacher & B.O.M Nachu Secondary school, principal Nachu Technical Vocational Center and CCCC representatives as we discussed CSR projects within the two institutions and across Nachu ward. Thereafter we had a groundbreaking ceremony for four new classrooms to be constructed at Nachu High school, expanding it to a double streamed day secondary school, sponsored by the national CDF board

Contractors Site Visit

Today 13th Feb 2018, Prequalified contractors wishing to participate in the recently floated tenders for renovation of Nguriunditu Primary School, proposed New Thamanda police post and Kerwa police post visited the sites before submitting their bids. This is a mandatory condition that must be fulfilled by the contractor for their bids to be considered. This is in line with our principle of effective, efficient and transparency in our procurement process.

Focused on Development and Delivery
