This Monday Hon Kimani Ichung’wah presided over the award of cheques to the first 23 groups that have qualified for funding from UWEZO fund. Another seven youth groups that he helped register earlier this year received funds from the Youth Enterprise fund. Earlier on, the MP also handed personal support donations to the Soccer sisters football team and AcreTano youth cultural group.
Last night, Hon Kimani Ichung’wah joined friends, constituents and other well-wishers for the annual Kikuyu Constituency Education (KICE) Foundation fundraising Dinner at the Jacaranda Hotel. Hon Kimani wishes to extend a message of heartfelt gratitude to all who were there to support this worthy cause. Over Kshs 3.6M was raided with Kshs 2.8Million in cash and another estimated 800K in pledges in the coming year. Special thanks to the KICE
On Sunday we were honoured to have the Deputy President grace the constituency. He attended a thanksgiving Service at the PCEA Kikuyu Township church after which he officially commissioned the Upgrading of Kikuyu Town roads to Bitumen(Tarmac) standards. He also officially opened the CDF funded Gikambura Health Centre and Nachu Technical Training Institute ground breaking. A few weeks ago I had a public baraza outside civilian hotel and this is one of the issues I addressed and informed residents that an overpass footbridge would be constructed from that civilian road to makutano side. As to the entry at PCEA, that in the design of the bypass is blocked and I may not be sure that this late,a redesign of the road is plausible. the solution

Monday I spent the day touring and inspecting ongoing CDF funded projects in Nderi,Nderi water project,Nderi secondary, Nguriunditu AP post and chiefs office,KARI healthcentre and Kikuyu boys high school,Kerwa Mbitiru road,Kanduma Kwa Mindo acre imwe nderi road, Gikira road,Kanyanjara pry,Nduma pry and Kerwa pry,Thamanda Water project and Gachuthi Water project amongst others that we intend to commence work on.I also addressed public barazas at Nderi and Kerwa shopping centres updating residents
